Rob Comiskey is a financial advisor at EDM Financial Advisors who has a wealth of experience in finance, banking and mortgages. Rob is a proud Michigan native who graduated from University of Detroit with a B.S. in Business and Walsh College with a Master’s degree in Finance. He started his career as a mortgage loan officer and later owned and operated his own mortgage brokerage. He then transitioned to financial planning in 2007 and co-founded EDM Financial Advisors in 2021.
Rob believes that financial planning is not just about numbers, but about building relationships and trust with those he serves. He listens to their needs, concerns, and aspirations, and provides them with personalized advice and guidance. He walks with them throughout life, helping them make impactful decisions that align with their values and vision. Rob also helps his clients develop healthy financial habits and routines that promote peace and wellness.
Rob is happily married to Andrea, who was diagnosed with MS in 2011. They have two college-aged children, Rory and Marissa. They live in Plymouth, Michigan with their lovable 12-year-old dog, Jack. Rob loves dogs and supports various animal rescue organizations. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, doing home projects, and watching movies and the Detroit Red Wings with his family.
